… a career with ACES gives you the opportunity to achieve this.

ACES actively encourages school students in year 10 or later, who would like to explore career opportunities in disability support work, to enquire about School-based Traineeships.
Traineeships combine paid employment with on-the-job training and study towards a Certificate III in Disability Work, which is a nationally recognised qualification. Recent changes to traineeships have made them more flexible and user-friendly for organisations like ACES. A number of students have completed their traineeships and gone on to full time work at ACES – read Brock’s story.
With so many service users in their late teens and early 20s, it is a bonus for all concerned when young people train and work at ACES. The trainees have great energy and bring knowledge and experience about what young people do and enjoy. It is clear the younger service users relate better with someone close to their own age.
To discuss options for employment or traineeships, contact ACES on (02) 6581 2348 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
